• I want a website. What do I need to get started?
  In order to have a website, there are 3 main components you will need:

  1. You will need a domain name such as www.YourDomainName.com.
     Domain names are registerd for 1 or more years and come with an annual fee. A domain name is linked with your email, such as you@YourDomainName.com, and is how your customers will find your website on the Internet.
  2. You will need web hosting. Web hosting refers to the server where your website lives on the Internet. Web hosting packages are purchased annually.

• How long will it take to build my web site?
  Depending on what the requirements of your website are, construction can take anywhere from as little as a few days to several weeks. Sometimes, websites can be rolled out in phases to maximize their availability, but often they are launched as completed packages. An estimate of time will always be given when a new proposal is made, so you will always be kept aware of the development progress.
• How much will my web site cost?
  The cost of your website will be directly proportional to it's complexity. A relatively simple site will cost much less than one with advanced functionality. You will always be given a fair estimate of costs before any project is started, and changes made during the development process will only happen with your approval. • What is web hosting and what will I need?
  Web hosting refers to the annual package you purchase to host your website on the Internet. The server-computer on which your website lives is called the "Host" and it serves the contents of your website to those who request it.

• I've just ordered my hosting package. When will my website and email be available?
  From the time you register a domain name (URL) and have us point it to your completed website, it can take from 24-72 hours before typing in your URL will return your website. This process is known as domain resolution. Typically, this step is completed first before your website is constructed in order to maximize your website's availability.
  
  Since your email depends on having a domain name that will resolve, the same 24-72 hours is also required to have your email account(s) fully functional. During this period, we can set up your new email accounts on our servers as well as on your local computers so they are ready to use once the domain resolution is complete.
